Registration Information - Soccer and Volleyball

Thank you for considering Ascension Athletic Association Sports Programs.

Registration Information

On-line Registration for the Fall 2010 Soccer Season will begin May 7, 2010 and run through June 13, 2010.  Please use appropriate registration quick link (on left) to register.  You need to register your children for the grade they will be in next Fall when school starts, not their current grade.

Volleyball is open to all boys and girls, 3rd through 8th grade, who are registered members of Ascension Parish.
 
Soccer is open to all boys and girls, Pre-K through High School, who either live in the Parish boundaries, are registered members of the Parish, or attend Ascension School.  Additionally, any player who participated in the 2006 Ascension soccer program is eligible to play for Ascension going forward.

You can only pay by Credit Card.  Anyone who registers prior to June 13th will be placed on a team.

Late registrations will be accepted only if there is room on a team.  In addition, all late registrations will incur a late registration fee (fees outlined below).

Soccer Fees 2010 Season

• A $45 Sibling Discount will be given on all registrations after the first family member.  This discount will be taken when you checkout.  

• Parishioner Registration Fees
  • Training League (Pre K - 1st Grade) $100 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 
  • CYC League (2nd Grade - 8th Grade) $120 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 
  • CYC League (High School) $60 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 
• Non-Parishioner Registration Fees
  • Training League (Pre K - 1st Grade) $110 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 
  • CYC League (2nd Grade - 8th Grade) $130 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 
  • CYC League (High School) $70 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20 per player) 

The Late Registration Fee will be added to any registration after June 13, 2010.

The difference in Registration fees is that Ascension Parishioners (as of 5/1/10) receive a $10 discount per player on Soccer Registrations. 

Note:  You must be a registered parishioner to take this discount rate.  If a non-parishioner takes the discounted Parishioner reate, the system will allow it because there is not an online check against parish membership.  The Ascension Athletic Association will be conducting an audit at the end of registration, and any non-parishioner that takes the Parishioner rate will be assessed the $10 charge to reverse the invalid discount and a $10 administrative fee.  The assessed fees must be paid before rosters are turned into the league.  Please only take the Parishioner rate if you are a registered Ascension Parishioner.

Withdrawing After Registration

We understand that you may have to withdraw from a program for a number of reasons, but players withdrawing from a team can impact the team for a season.  In addition the Athletic Association incurs administrative costs with each registration.  The following fees will be assessed with any refund request:

If you withdraw after you register and pay, but before July 10th (approximate team assignment date), there is a $10 withdrawal fee that will be deducted from your refund amount. 

If you withdraw on or after July 10th, there will be a $25 withdrawal fee that will be deducted from your refund amount.

If you withdraw after August 31st, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted via email to your grade coordinator.  If you have a valid medical reason or relocation related to your request to withdraw, please provide that information to your grade coordinator when you make your request. 

 

Volleyball Fees 2009 Season

• CYC League (3rd Grade - 8th Grade) $80 per player (Late Registration Fee: $20)

The Late Registration Fee will be added to any registration after June 15, 2009.

Due to gym space limitations, this program is only open to children of registered Ascension Parish families.  We check registrations against the parish directory before team assignment.  If you are not a registered parishioner your registration will be refunded, but we will assess a $10 administrative fee.
